With just over a week until Memorial Day, our unofficial start to summer, we’re all looking forward to beach days, bike rides with family and friends, and of course, running — lots and lots of running, in warmer temps and with a whole lot less clothing. (Yay for shedding layers!)
Thanks to those readers who shared favorite summer activities in response to my giveaway of one free entry to next month’s Glen Arbor Solstice Half Marathon & 5K. The winner, chosen at random, to receive this prize is …
Andrea Cherwinski: “I have been thinking about this race but have been up in the air about actually doing it because of how close it is to the Charlevoix race. But if I had a free entry I would defineatly do it lol. I love getting to run outside without 500 layers of clothes on!”
Congratulations, Andrea! Please email MRG at michiganrunnergirl [at] gmail [dot] com to claim your prize.
I’ll be at this race, running the half, and I look forward to seeing Andrea and other MRG readers there! You can register for the race here »
