Each Friday I’ll share a popular post from the current week’s Michigan Runner Girl Facebook page. If you’re not already part of the MRG community over there, please join us for lively conversation about all things running in the Mitten–looking forward to seeing you there!

Made it to Wednesday!

That’s a slice of pizza in my left hand, a bottle of #newholland The Poet in my right. And cozy pj pants, of course.

Great finish to my lone rest day of the week. Back to #marathontraining tomorrow.

Alright, so I have to add that one of my favorite comments to this post came from Alison, a fellow northern Michigan runner:

Oh! And if you’re like Elizabeth and wonder about my purple MRG shirt, please know that I will have these available at the MRG online store very soon!

Do you have a favorite Michigan brew? What pizza toppings do you like best? I love ham and onions.

Do you love wearing PJ bottoms at night, too? We call them cozies in our house. I am not sure when that started exactly, but I love that we have a name for them.
