The Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac Tri Goddess Tri celebrates women of all abilities, inspiring them to reach new heights of health and set new fitness goals by training for and completing a triathlon. The first-ever all-women’s triathlon/duathlon in Michigan, the Suburban Chevrolet Cadillac Tri Goddess Tri is organized by women who know how to make your first (or hundredth!) triathlon tons of fun! The event is held just 12 miles west of Chelsea at Big Portage Lake in Waterloo Recreation Area, surrounding our participants in scenery as beautiful and inspiring as themselves.

We are so excited to announce that we will have “Swim Bike Mom,” aka Meredith Atwood at our Tri Goddess Tri Weekend this year!

Meredith is a four-time IRONMAN triathlete, author of Triathlon for the Every Woman, motivational speaker, writer for Triathlete Magazine and host of The Same 24 Hours Podcast.  She’s the founder of Tri*Fe Tri  — triathlon wear for the “every” woman — in sizes S to 4XL. She is a USAT Level 1 and IRONMAN certified coach and METS Level I. Currently she lives in Atlanta with her husband and two children and writes at www.SwimBikeMom.com.

5:45 AM — Packet Pick-Up opens
5:45 AM — Transition area opens
7:00 AM — Packet Pick-Up closes
7:00 AM — Yoga on the Beach with Lisa Hesse
7:15 AM — Transition area closes
7:15 AM — Mandatory meeting on the beach
7:30 AM — Race begins
8:45 AM -11:30 AM — Post-race celebration and athlete food
10:00 AM — Awards ceremony (approximate time)
