5k Family Friendly

The Steps to Freedom 5K is an untimed, non-competitive event with the focus on gathering pledges or making a personal donation and walking to help fund Forgotten Youth Ministry programs for juvenile offenders and their families. The event will be held at the Saginaw Township Soccer Complex, 3575 McCarty Road, Saginaw, MI 48603. The path is stroller- and wagon-friendly.

Registration is $15 per family or individual or $10 for youth with their youth group, and includes a finisher medal and a Steps to Freedom T Shirt if registration is received at least 8 days prior to event. Additional shirts can be purchased for $8 up to 8 days prior to event.

1st, 2nd, & 3rd place prizes will be awarded for most funds raised in both the family and individual categories. In addition, for every $100 raised or donated a ticket will be awarded for the drawings for $50 gift cards. You must be present to win gift cards. There is a limit of one $50 gift card per person.

Same day registration and check-in begins at 8:30 a.m., the run/walk begins at 9:00 a.m., and prizes will be awarded at 10:30 a.m. at the pavilion.
