The Frozen Foot Race is a 5 Mile Run/Walk through great neighborhoods at the base of the Old Mission Peninsula in Traverse City, Mich. Varied terrain and temperatures are just a few things that set this race apart from the others!

What: 5-Mile Road Race and 1 mile kids fun run ages 0-12

When: Saturday, January 28th, 2017

Times:  Late registration is 7:30-8:45a.m. race day at Eastern Elementary School. Kids 1 mile at 9am, 5 mile at 9:30amm.

Where: Eastern Elementary School, Traverse City, MI

Course: Start at Eastern Elementary at the base of the Old Mission Penninsula. You then go up and down some “fun inclines,” get some icy views of East Bay, and take a straight shot back to the finish line.

Entry Fee: 5 mile is $25 prior to January 26, $10 for any current Middle School/High School Student TCAPS or surrounding area. FREE if you are a Traverse City Track Club Member. Please use the same E-mail as your TCTC membership and automatically get the discount! The kids Fun Run is $5.

Is it stroller friendly? If you can push a stroller up and down a sizeable hill than more power to you! However, we ask that you start in the very back of the starting area. Also, please keep the safety of your little stroller riders in mind.

What is this “Kids Fun Mile” you speak of? A 1 mile fun run for your tiny racer ages 0-12 to enjoy. 9am start time for the little kiddos. Just a short little fun run to introduce our young runners to winter road running!

Packet Pick Up: Race day 7:30am to 8:45am at Eastern Elementary

Awards for Overall male/female. Masters (50+) Male/Female, top 3 in each age group male/female.

Age groups as follows: 0-12, 13-15, 16-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+
