Please join us for The Great Lakes Bay Animal Society’s 8th annual Fast & Furriest 5K Run/Walk with your dog in Midland City Forest. We are expecting 250-300 participants and 150 of their dogs. Runners and walkers come from throughout Michigan to participate. We encourage you to bring your canine companions and celebrate the special human-animal bond! Runners and walkers without dogs are also encouraged to participate in the fun! Children 6 and under can run/walk for FREE!

This is a family-friendly and kid-friendly event and the trail is stroller-friendly. You can run or walk, with or without your dog. Aid and water stations are positioned along the trail. We will also have our orange bandanas available for purchase with your entry. You must be present to receive your awards so stick around and enjoy the post-race refreshments and festivities.

Proceeds from this special fundraiser will directly benefit Great Lakes Bay Animal Society’s goal of providing quality veterinary care for animals in transition to their forever homes.
