Beaumont’s focus on wellness includes a longstanding demonstration of fitness and activity as part of a healthy lifestyle, the Red October Run. Launched at Beaumont Hospital, Wayne in 1991, this fit fall tradition will journey to an exciting new venue in 2017, Greenfield Village!  With feature events including a 5K run, 5K walk and 1 mile Jr. October for kids, the Red October Run through Greenfield Village caters to participants from under 8 to over 80 years of age. Amenities and highlights include commemorative shirts, finisher medals and number bibs for all participants; a certified 5K course; b-tag timing with immediate access to results; awards in 5K running and walking events; a pre-race warm-up, post race refreshments  and healthy displays; and post race admission to Greenfield Village for registered participants.  Don’t miss the most historic 5K you’ll ever run! Event capacity will be limited to 1500; register early!
