The annual “Alden Run” 5k run, 10k run and 2 mile walk returns as an in person event on Saturday, July 31, 2021 after one year as a virtual event! All three events start just east of the Community Center up the hill from town. Each distance follows a separate route, with all finishing in town on Smalley Street, behind the Methodist Church. The two mile course for walkers is all on paved roads and is stroller friendly. Course maps are available at aldenrun.com .

Due to the advance time needed to plan the run, coupled with fast changing pandemic related regulations, some changes will still be implemented. There will be no Day-of registration, participants must register online in advance. Online registration and more information can be found at www.aldenrun.com. Packet pick up will only be Friday July 30 from noon – 7 PM at the Community Center. All runs/walk begin at 9 am July 31. Overall Male & Female, and Masters Male and Female winners in both 5K and 10K races will be awarded unique trophies at the finish.
