10k 5k Family Friendly

The annual “Alden Run” 5k run, 10k run and 2 mile walk will once again take place on Saturday, July 30, 2022. All three events start just east of the Community Center up the hill from town. Each distance follows a separate route, with all finishing in town on Smalley Street, behind the Methodist Church. The two mile course for walkers is all on paved roads and is stroller friendly. There will be no Day-of registration, participants must register online by July 26th at noon. Online registration and more information can be found at www.aldenrun.com. Packet pick up will be Friday July 29 from 4 – 6 PM and again Saturday morning July 30th starting at 7:30 AM, at the Community Center. All runs/walk begin at 9 am July 30. An awards ceremony will follow the run and will be held in town in the open space between Paradise Properties and Nifty Things. Unique trophies will be awarded to overall male and female and master male and female winners in both the 5K and 10K, with unique age group awards going to first, second and third place males and females in each age division.
