Official Site: www.GreatAmazingRace.com. The Most Exciting Adventure Race on the Planet! Since 2012, A national family-friendly adventure/obstacle race for adults & kids grades k-12. Modeled after the TV show, this adventure race pits two-person teams in separate age divisions against their peers completing a 1.5 mile course speckled with fun outdoor challenges (tasks, obstacles, relays, etc.). It’s way more fun than a 5K! Recreation & competitive levels. Advance to championship and chance to win $1,200.

RACE INFO

  1. Open to everyone – runners, joggers and walkers – pee wees to grandparents.  
  2. 2 person team – adult/adult, adult/kid or kid/kid.  Kindergarten & Pre-K are allowed only if paired with an adult. 
  3. 3 challenge levels – easy, intermediate & difficult – based on age & fitness level of participants.
  4. 4 race divisions – Grades K-2, 3-5, 6-8, 9-Adult
  5. Plan on 60 minutes to complete the course.  
  6. Discounts for Teachers, Military (active, retired, reserved) & First Responders (police, fire, EMT).
  7. Top 25 teams at each city race qualify for championship race and $1,200 prize.
