The week got away from me—I was taking Alex to his awesome Norte! bike camp everyday, where he explored Traverse City each morning with a dozen other 11- and 12-year-olds, and then there was a bunch of work and house projects on our plates—so I apologize for the delay in announcing the winner to last week’s Boyne City Triathlon race entry giveaway. Thanks to everyone who entered this giveaway, made possible because of MRG’s partnership with this event and Race Director Rob Swartz. The winner chosen at random is…Nicole Harden!

“I completed my 2nd tri (a sprint tri) last month at Tri Goddess. I have been wanting to try a slightly longer distance! This would be amazing!” ~Nicole H.

Congratulations, Nicole! To claim your prize, please email MRG at heather [at] michiganrunnergirl [dot] com

This year’s Boyne City Triathlon is set for Sunday, September 3 in Boyne City, Mich. There are plenty of options for race distances, too: both sprint and Olympic distances for individuals, as well as for relay teams. In addition, there are duathlon options (run and biking only, both individual and team) if you’re not quite ready for the swim portion of a multi-disciplined race event.

Boyne City is a quaint town on beautiful Lake Charlevoix—a perfect spot for your Labor Day weekend. Learn more about this race here »
